Tipp City’s outdoor painting event brings food trucks, vendors and live music downtown Saturday 

Fans of the Tipp City Area Art Council’s Plein Air event will find something different this year. 

Held this Saturday, Oct. 3, the Plein Air at the Street Fair will feature a street fair along with the outdoor painting. Visitors can expect to find food trucks, vendor booths, street entertainers and music. The Plein Air Street Fair will be held in the downtown area of Tipp between Main and Walnut on Second Street from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. 

Entertainment includes Ranger Vic (a balloon clown) and hair painting by Great Clips as well as musicians Jerome Casinger, Benny Bodine and Reyna Spears. Featured food trucks and vendors are What the Taco, JA’s & Sweet-Umms, Rusty Harden Art & Massage, S&S Bee Company and Sun & Loon Garden Apothecary. 

While there may be added fun this year, the plein air event is still the main draw. Adults can compete for cash prizes while children can sign up for free. Children will receive a watercolor set and be entered into a raffle sponsored by Topsy Turvy Toys. 

Those who don’t paint are still invited to attend so they can witness the artwork created by other local residents.
