From crafts to yoga, there is so much to do at the Arcade in Dayton
Looking for an excuse to get downtown and to stop by the Arcade? Thanks to a variety of events, the Arcade is the place to go whether you are going out with friends or just going on a solo date.
To get into a spooky mood for Halloween, there will be an October Crafty Arcade with the Savage Stitcher Oct. 28 from 5-8 p.m. in the North Arcade. Admission is free. At the event, attendees can bring their own sewing project, share tips and spend time making something festive and fun together. Attendees are encouraged to wear their Halloween costume and bring individually wrapped candy to share with other crafters for a candy swap. Food and drink options will be located through the Arcade complex if attendees would like dinner, a snack or drink.
If you’re looking for stress relief and relaxation, there will be free yoga Nov. 4 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. This is an all-level yoga series that is made for everyone, no matter if you have done yoga before or if you are new. Attendees will need to bring a water bottle, a yoga mat and a friend.
The Arcade recommends grabbing dinner after yoga at the different dinner options it offers, including Lucho and the Garden Grille & Bar.
In December, you can get into the holiday spirit at the Holly Days at the Arcade, presented by AES Ohio, held Dec. 9, 10 and 11, 3-8 p.m. This will be the sixth year for the event. Attendees can get in some holiday shopping from 50 small business vendors, have some great food at restaurants and food trucks, and listen to live entertainment. There will also be family-friendly activities and performances, cash bars and holiday surprises. The Arcade will post a complete vendor list, entertainment schedule and other event details later on once the event gets closer.
