Get a head start on your holiday shopping at one of these local stories or events

Get into the holiday spirit with some holiday shopping.  

Lula Bell Whimsical Cards and Gifts invites guests to explore its whimsical holiday-themed new gifts, cards and other themed items. The open house is free to attend and will be held at Lula Bell Nov. 5-7 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. and November 8 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at its shop location at 23 Park Ave. in Oakwood. 

Nov. 27-28, head to Yellow Springs to the Mills Park Hotel for the Holiday Bazaar. There you’ll find local vendors, food truck, raffles, Mr. Red Legs and Rosie Red, and more. 

That same weekend, on Nov. 28, Front Street will kick off the holiday seasons with its annual Christkindl Market. More than 200 boutiques, galleries and studios will be participating for Small Business Saturday. There will also be photos with Santa, crafts, s’mores and a food truck rally. 

And in December, don’t forgot to head downtown for Holly Days at the Arcade. Held Dec. 11-13, the event features an artisan craft market featuring more than 30 vendors, a community Lego build and holiday entertainment.
