Decor with a Touch of Beauty

Marriage and a hormone issue inspired this local maker to bring positivity and all-natural products into your home

Emily Garber found a passion in both decor and all-natural beauty products, so she merged the two and launched Be Divine Decor and Beauty.

“Be Divine Decor and Beauty is a wooden sign decor and all-natural beauty product shop,” she explains. “All products are handmade by me.”

Located in Bradford, Ohio, the business is on a mission to help you live a positive, all-natural life.

The decor side of the business came about in 2021 when Garber and her husband purchased their first home months before their wedding. “After many hours of crunch time remodeling, I found my passion,” she says. “I wanted to create my own home decor signs with bible verses and my own sayings, so that’s what I did!”

Then, in 2022, she had a bout with hormonal acne. As someone who had grown up and navigated those difficult, hormone-filled years of high school without acne, she says this was a blow to her confidence.

“After months of taking prescription medicine, I realized I can’t take these all my life,” says Garber. “I have to figure out the real problem. Once I stopped taking prescription meds, my acne got worse. I started making my own zit stopper, facial cleanser and hormone balancer with essential oils. And this led to handmade lotions, deodorant, perform, hand soap diffusers, laundry detergent and more.”

On her journey to clearer skin, Garber had taken a hormone test to find out her progesterone was low—something not uncommon in much of the female population. Now she offers a unique blend of pure essential oils that have helped to keep it under control.

You can shop Garber’s collection of home decor and beauty products on the shop’s website. She also pops up at local events and markets, which you can stay up to date on by following along on Facebook and Instagram.
