Dayton Pizza Week is back this weekend

Dayton Pizza Week is back, offering an easy way to enjoy a staple of the city’s food scene. From Nov. 10–16, restaurants across the Miami Valley are celebrating the local pizza scene with deals, creative pies and other dishes. 

Organized by the Miami Valley Restaurant Association, Dayton Pizza Week brings together some of the region’s favorite pizzerias, each offering a signature pizza for $10–12.  

The week also highlights Dayton’s distinctive pizza identity. Specifically, the centerpiece of the week is the “Dayton-style” pies: thin, crispy crust, square-cut slices and toppings spread from edge to edge.  

This hometown classic is seen at classic Dayton pizzerias like Marion’s Piazza and Cassano’s as well as newer restaurants experimenting with creative toppings and modern twists. 

Beyond the cheese and pepperoni, Dayton Pizza Week supports the local restaurant community. For many small businesses, it’s a chance to attract new customers during a slower dining season and highlight what makes their menu unique. The event also drives engagement across social media and encourages residents to explore neighborhoods one slice at a time. 

While visiting old classics or new favorites, diners are encouraged to share their experiences on social media, turning the event into a citywide celebration of flavor and friendly competition.
