After a tumultuous 20 months and having last year’s Best of Dayton event online, it was wonderful to see so many familiar faces at the seventh Best of Dayton event on Nov. 4. It was the perfect opportunity to meet the Best of the Best voted on by you, our readers. New this year, voting took place online and at the event, allowing more people to participate than ever in our eighth annual Best of Dayton competition. A big thank you goes out to our host Top of the Market and our television partner WDTN. You can read about all the winners beginning on page 32. 

Over the last year, we also launched a new brand and website called The Chic Guide Dayton, which exclusively features stories on beauty, fashion, health and more in the Miami Valley. It held its first-ever event, a Holiday Sip & Shop at the Brightside Music & Event Venue, this year, too, on Dec. 8.
