Whether or not you celebrate Christmas, deciding what you’ll be eating for your Dec. 25 meal can be stressful. Luckily, many restaurants are allowing you to be preorder meals that can be picked up right before the holiday.
Lily’s Dayton
Lily’s Dayton is helping diners enjoy a restaurant-quality meal at home with its holiday takeout offerings. Diners can choose from two main courses (prime rib and mushroom risotto) and receive potato gratin with gruyere and toasted pecans and honey glazed carrots on the side. Taste of the World Catering
For those who want a personalized menu, Taste of the World Catering is still taking holiday orders. Main entrees include spinach stuffed chicken breast, three-meat and cheese lasagna and Southern fried catfish while side options include Cajun-garlicky green beans, sweet potato souffle and cornbread dressing. City Barbeque
City Barbeque, with locations in Beavercreek, Centerville and Miller Lane, has brought back its slow-smoked holiday meals for another year. The Big Meal (a whole smoke turkey, one pan each of two sides and a dozen buns or one quart of gravy) serves 12-16 and the Turkey Breast Meal (a slow-smoked turkey breast, one quart each of two side and a half-dozen buns or a pint of gravy) feeds six to eight.
