Discover your new favorite drink at the Brewster at the Schuster event

Instead of barhopping, wouldn’t you prefer to have access to all of Dayton’s best alcoholic beverages in one place? Thanks to Dayton Live, guests 21 years and older can discover their new favorite drink from the Dayton region’s top breweries during a casual night of live music, food and fun at the Schuster Center.

The event, called Brewster at the Schuster, will be held Thursday, Oct. 26, at the Schuster Center 5:30-8:30 p.m. The event, which is a celebration of Miami Valley’s premier breweries, is sponsored by By the Glass catering, as well as The Ohio Arts Council and Montgomery County Arts and Cultural District.

Brewery representatives will be there to speak to guests and provide exclusive tastings of a range of drinks, from ale to lager. Featured breweries and distilleries include Bock Eye Family Brewing, Buckeye Vodka, Crooked Handle Brewing Co., and Toxic Brew Company.

“People can taste beverages instead of buying a whole bottle, while enjoying a great social ambiance,” says Kailey Yeakley, who manages social media and public relations at Dayton Live. “My favorite part of Brewster at the Schuster is seeing beer lovers come together to support all the local breweries taking part in the event! Patrons can enjoy their favorites and find new favorites all under one roof.”

Dayton Live is a home for arts, culture and entertainment in Dayton and operates several venues in the region. These venues include the Schuster Center, Loft Theatre, Victoria Theatre and PNC Arts Annex.

For the first time, the Brewster at the Schuster event is now a part of a five-part event series called The Dayton Live By The Glass Series. This series is a collection of themed tasting events that embodies everything alcohol. Each event in the series includes a wide variety of drinks, experienced servers, snacks, live music, souvenir drinkware and more.

“It’s a great way for people to support local businesses,” adds Yeakley.

Various ticket options are available, such as single event general admission, season passes for access to all five events, VIP tickets that give guests access to higher end drinks and exclusive tastings, and special “designated driver” tickets for non-drinking attendees.
