The Grafton Hill Neighborhood Association invites family and friends out for a night of fun

Before the spooky season comes to an end, what is a better way than with pumpkins? The Stoddard Avenue Pumpkin glow returns for its annual event. All pumpkin fans are in for a treat, and tonight is the last night guests can come out for a night filled with illuminated pumpkins!  

Dating back to 1984, Judy Chaffin, a Stoddard Avenue resident began The Stoddard Avenue Pumpkin Glow with only 30-100 pumpkins on the hill. Neighbors, family, and friends would gather to create, carve, and light pumpkins for the special event.  

This year on Oct 25. and Oct 26., starting at 6:00 pm, guests can come witness nearly 1,000 carved jack-o’-lanterns come alive in the historic Grafton Hill neighborhood. Located behind Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church (500 Belmonte Park North), guests can watch a display of pumpkins with creative faces to unique sayings that will light up the night sky. 

The Stoddard Avenue Pumpkin Glow will also feature different food trucks like El Meson, Urban BBQ and The Family Bean Coffee Truck for families to enjoy! 

The Stoddard Avenue Pumpkin Glow is a free event, and parking will be available for all guests at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, The Dayton Art Institute, and throughout the neighborhood.
