Have a spooky good time this season at one of these local locations
The state of Ohio is recommending that we all stay away from hayrides, indoor haunted houses and Halloween parties, so many of us will be avoiding our usual Halloween traditions. Luckily, several places have added to or altered their Halloween plans to create family-friendly settings perfect for celebrating the holiday.
Kings Island’s Tricks and Treats Fall Fest is replacing the park’s The Haunt and The Great Pumpkin Fest this year. Held Saturdays and Sundays through Nov. 1, the park will be serving dozens of savory and sweet treats and hosting socially distanced trick-or-treating.
EnterTRAINment Junction in West Chester has brought back its Jack O’Lantern Junction. There will be a walk-thru indoor maze and a Halloween train display, and each child will receive a bag of trick-or-treat candy.
And at Young’s Dairy Farm, families can take part in a variety of activities. You can explore Corwin’s Corny Maze Playland and pick you own pumpkins in addition to the other activities the farm has to offer.
