 The Arts Return to Hamilton

The Fitton Center has announced a new schedule of arts programming for the fall

While arts performances and classes have been greatly impacted by COVID-19, the Hamilton-based Fitton Center for the Arts has recently revealed its new fall schedule, which promises plenty of both.

For those seeking live shows, the Fitton Center has announced a new performance series that will be taking place at Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park in its outdoor pavilion. Three shows are planned for the fall—a concert featuring the Just Strange Brothers and their 70s and 80s covers on Sept. 18, a Madcap Puppets performance of Pinocchio on Oct. 2, and a Big Band Jazz night with the Cincinnati Contemporary Jazz Orchestra and vocalist Mandy Gaines on Oct. 4. Tickets can be purchased through the Fitton Center.

The Fitton Center has also released its fall class schedule for children and adults. Classes are being offered in ceramics, drawing, mosaics and printmaking in two sessions—Sept. 21-Oct. 30 and Nov. 2-Dec. 12. Registration for both sessions is now open.

“Now more than ever we really need the arts as a way to vent, de-stress and channel our feelings into creative pursuits. The Fitton Center’s Education Program is pleased to provide an outlet where our community can make something positive during these uncertain times,” said Fitton Center Education Director Kate Rowekamp in a press release.
