4 Places to Get Christmas Dinner

Want to eat local this holiday season? Four Miami Valley restaurants are offering takeout for Christmas

Is your family still at a loss when it comes to what to eat on Christmas Day this year? The holiday may only be days away, but you can still order a quality meal crafted by a local restaurant. Below are four restaurants that are still accepting orders.

El Meson
903 E. Dixie Drive West, Carrollton City
You can enjoy Hispanic flavors over the holidays with curbside carryout from El Meson. Sangria, paella, tortilla soup and ham with a tropical glaze can all be preordered for pickup on Christmas Eve. Both hot and ready to bake menu items are available.

Lily’s Dayton
329 E. Fifth St., Dayton
Lily’s is offering both ready to eat items (perfect for Christmas Eve) and home meal kits for the following day for families of two and four. Diners have their choice of two main courses (garlic-herb prime rib au jus with horseradish cream or wild mushroom and butternut squash risotto), sides, add-on appetizers, desserts and wine. Prices varies depending on the number being served and any add-ons. Orders must be places by noon tomorrow.

Mill Park Hotel
321 Xenia Ave., Yellow Springs
Each meal, which can be picked up Christmas Eve, comes with an entrée of either roasted turkey and gravy or ham, a choice of candied yams or roasted carrots and brussels sprouts, macaroni and cheese, cranberry sauce and a choice of pecan pie or pumpkin pie. The meals are designed for a family of four. The order must be placed online by 6 p.m. tonight.

Salar
400 E. Fifth St., Dayton
Peruvian and world fusion restaurant Salar is offering two precooked holiday meals for two: a pork filet mignon meal that also comes with lobster bisque and a beef filet mignon meal that also comes with pork belly and a house salad. Both meals come with risotto, vegetables and a flourless chocolate cake. Wine and cocktails can also added to your order.
