 Music @ Lunch

Enjoy live entertainment from local performers in Dayton’s RiverScape MetroPark

If you’re looking for a way to liven up your lunch break, head to Riverscape Metroparks Music @ Lunch event, conveniently located in downtown Dayton.

The event is free to the public and occurs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 11:30 in the morning to 1:30 in the afternoon. Guests who attend can pack a lunch, grab some food from RiverScape Café, host a meeting, or just sit and enjoy Music @ Lunch until September 3.

RiverScape Specialist Stephanie Baker said that a wide variety of local artists are scheduled to perform. The event showcases multiple genres of music including folk, polka, soul and guitar.

Baker said that along with checking out and supporting local artists, guests can also look forward to all that the riverfront has to offer.

“Taking in the Five Rivers Fountain of Lights in the background and just enjoying the sounds of nature… [and] being in downtown, it’s a really good experience,” Baker said.

With the recent decrease in COVID-19 restrictions, Baker said that she believes Music @ Lunch is a good place for people to socialize and congregate.

“We refer to RiverScape as ‘Dayton’s front porch,’” said Baker, “So it’s a great community gathering place and a great way to be connected.”
