This fun street concert in downtown Sidney is back and featuring up-and-coming country artists you don’t want to miss on June 15

Boots in the Street is back for its second year and aims to be even better than last year. Slated for June 15, Boots in the Street will feature Tyler Hubbard, The Cadillac Three and Dylan Marlowe.  

The day-long event kicks off at 4:30 p.m. with Matty Sexton followed by three superstar performances. Hubbard is headlining the show, and as one half of the duo Florida Georgia Line, he has already accomplished 21 No. 1 singles on country radio, countless awards and, most recently, launched his debut solo album titled “Tyler Hubbard.” Originally known at The Cadillac Black, The Cadillac Three is an American rock band comprised of Jaren Johnston, Kelby Ray and Neil Mason. The group has released three albums through Big Machine Records and has been on Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts while writing songs for Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Steven Tyler, Dallas Smith and Jake Owen. 

The team behind Boots in the Street is excited to bring this fun event back to downtown Sidney. “Last year’s event went so well, and everyone had so much fun,” they say. “We knew we just had to bring it back again and make it even bigger and better than last year.” 

Last year’s event was held on East Poplar Street in Sidney, this year’s event will shift a bit to allow for more room for attendees. Boots in the Street 2024 will be located on South Main Avenue, between East Poplar and East Court streets. 

Drink and food vendors will be at the event, but attendees should remember it is a cash only event. All sales, both food and drink, will be cash only. However, ATMs will be available throughout the venue for your convenience. 

Country music festivals are a beloved pastime in Shelby County, and the team at Boots in the Street is giving this event a unique twist of its own. One lucky couple will have the opportunity to get engaged on the grand stage at the event. Entries to get engaged on stage ended May 24, but eventgoers will be in for a treat to see the proposal live, which features a diamond engagement ring from Harris Jewelers valued at $9,500.  

This year’s event will also have a beneficiary, Pink Ribbon Good, which helps to support those battling breast and gynecological cancer. To increase its donation to the group, the crew behind Boots in the Street is teaming up with Murphy’s Craft Bar + Kitchen in Sidney to host a “Dine to Donate” event June 6 from 4-10 p.m., where Boots in the Street tickets will be available for purchase. Additionally, 10% of all sales from the concert as well as 10% of sales from the June 6 dining event will be donated to Pink Ribbon Good. You can learn more about Pink Ribbon Good at its website.
