It’s time to celebrate with the return of fall.

Natasha Baker

Fall is upon us. Time for cooler evenings, football tailgating and going back to school—and all the parents in the area erupt in applause!

Dayton is a great place to be this time of year. With lots of festivals for family fun, the start of another spectacular theater and performing arts season and our ever-mercurial weather, it’s hard not to find a lot of reasons to love the Miami Valley.

Just to make sure you don’t miss anything, here is our 2015 Social Datebook. It includes all the upcoming galas, parties and special events happening throughout Dayton. Special thanks to our partners at Culture Works for their help in pulling together this important calendar.

The Social Datebook isn’t the only feature to love. Parents of high schoolers will love our Guide to Colleges and Universities. We give you a quick look at the long list of schools available in Dayton’s impressive higher education portfolio.

Readers can also learn about Ohio’s efforts to lure Hollywood and economic development to the state. We wish happy anniversary to both the Ronald McDonald House and downtown’s First Baptist Church. We want your opinion on the traffic cams and other frustrating traffic situations in the area. There is even a special section on the amazing health care innovations happening in Dayton.

Did you miss our first annual Healthcare Summit? Don’t worry, we have you covered. Make plans now to attend next year’s event.

We love to hear from you. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter or write to us anytime at comments@thedaytonmagazine.com.
