It’s time to celebrate another great year.

Natasha Baker

We did it! We are happy to celebrate another year of bringing you the best that Dayton has to offer. By now, we hope you are as excited about living and working in this fabulous city as we are.

As many of you know, I didn’t grow up in Dayton, but about 30 miles east of here in a rural community in Preble County. I spent my childhood looking forward to the days we came to Dayton. The shopping, the restaurants and the buildings downtown offered excitement and adventure that I didn’t have in my community.

To think that my family has called the Miami Valley home for more than 25 years is surprising, and yet not really. We have loved making this our town. I still get excited driving into downtown, trying a trendy new restaurant and going to an incredible show. I love that this community is affordable, comfortable and my home, and I hope you do, too.

In this issue, we continue to bring you stories about the people, places, businesses and culture that make Dayton so great. Check out Bucher’s column on the new River Run mural. Read about exciting plans for Antioch University. Learn about how local healthcare providers are expanding into your neighborhood while meeting some of the area’s fantastic doctors. Get out and find an adventure with the Victoria Theatre and Five Rivers MetroParks over these long cold winter months.

It’s all here in your Dayton Magazine.

Happy Holidays!
