Neighborhood staple Geez Grill and Pub offers sports, food and good times
Sports fans have long had a go-to spot in Geez Grill and Pub, a family-owned restaurant known for its welcoming, sports-forward atmosphere. Whether posted up at the bar or sharing a meal with family and friends, guests can enjoy comfort food and a lively setting while watching the game.
The menu features classic pub fare ideal for game-day snacking, along with a selection of house specialties. Standouts include Mamma’s Geez Poco Pasta, a luncheon-sized portion of spaghetti or penne served with a meatball. The pub also offers a variety of sandwiches, salads and appetizers, making it easy to satisfy a range of tastes.
Geez Grill and Pub has been a fixture in the community since opening in April 1994. Founded by Steve and Maxine Giallombardo, the restaurant was built on the same values that guided them while raising their nine children: hard work, consistency and family. While opening a restaurant is no easy task; the couple has often said it was no more daunting than raising a household of that size, a mindset that helped establish Geez as a neighborhood staple.
That family legacy continues today. The business remains family-run, with son Nick Giallombardo serving as owner and general manager, carrying forward the traditions and welcoming atmosphere that have defined Geez for more than three decades.
Geez Grill and Pub is open Monday- Thursday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m., Friday- Saturday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m., and Sunday, noon- 9 p.m. and is located at 6061 Far Hills Ave., Washington Township, OH. For more information on Geez Grill and Pub, visit its website.
