Thanks to Artini Dayton, you can vote for your favorite cocktails on May 11!
“This will be a fun social event that we are doing in support of our annual campaign for the arts,” says Karen Maner, communications and project manager at Culture Works. “The campaign is an annual fundraiser that provides general operating support to local arts organizations that we work with.”
Artini Dayton will feature local artists who will be creating work featuring the Dayton skyline. “The artists will be capturing that on the spot,” says Maner. “Two of the artists that will be creating live demos are James Pate and Dwayne Daniel and those pieces will be auctioned off.”
The event will also feature live music from the Darren Bell Band. However, “The main focus of the event is a creative martini contest,” says Maner. “We have bartenders from a bunch of local restaurants and bars that are going to be creating their own cocktail creations.”
Attendees can purchase a ticket for $25 that will get you five samples, while a VIP ticket for $40 will get you eight samples and early entry into the event.
Culture Works is the area arts agency for the Dayton region. Culture Works market sand advocates for the arts in the area.
“We’re really excited about doing this event for the first time, and we think it’ll be a great way for people to kick off their weekend,” says Maner.
