After a year of staying inside and staying away from others, our Summer Fun Guide is just what the doctor ordered. It’s a reminder of all the fun activities and events the Miami Valley has to offer and how you can access them.
This issue is packed with more fun, too—we look into Dayton Live’s new season of shows, explore the Bradford Ohio Railroad Museum, taste different wines at Brandeberry Winery and even take some time to enjoy a local DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area).
And with things returning to normal, there’s no better time to honor our region’s nonprofits. They adapted and persevered during the pandemic, helping others even as they themselves struggled. These nonprofit organizations deserve to be recognized. Turn to page 33 to see the winners of our first Greater Dayton Nonprofit of the Year Awards.
I know I plan to be out and about in the coming months, enjoying the many wonderful activities. If you see me, be sure to stop and say hello!
Here’s to a back-to-normal summer!
