Enjoy some holiday lights at one of these 14 local attractions

The holiday seasons is upon us, and one way to get into the holiday spirit is to visit one of our region’s many holiday light display. We found 14 throughout the Miami Valley that are sure to get you in the holiday spirit. 

A Carillon Christmas 
Carillon Historical Park, 1000 Carillon Blvd, Dayton 
Through Dec. 30, Su-Th 5-9 p.m., F-Sa 5-10 p.m., closed Dec. 24-25 
Adults $14, seniors 60+ $12, children 3-17 $10, children 2 and under free, Dayton History members free 

The 65-acre campus is transformed into a winter wonderland thanks to the Carillon Tree of Light, model trains displays, a Christmas Village and more. 

Christmas Glow 
Land of Illusion, 8762 Thomas Road, Middletown 
Through Dec. 30, 6-10 p.m., Closed 25, drive-thru only Dec. 26-30 
$9 per person 

Drive-thru attraction with more than 3.8 million lights. After, enjoy the petting zoo, gift shop, Santa’s Workshop and Christmas Village. 

The Christmas Ranch 
3205 W. Waynesville Road, Morrow 
Through Dec. 23, Su-Th 5-9 p.m., F-Sa 5-10 p.m. 
$22 per carload, $33 per oversized van (10-plus visitors) 

Featured on HGTV and Good Morning America. More than 1 million lights synchronized to music, plus shops, a bakery, train and wagon rides, and pictures with Santa. 

Downtown Jingle Lights 
E. Monument Avenue and Main Street, Dayton

Free 

Drive-thru light show in downtown Dayton that is choreographed to music. 

Holiday in Lights 
Armco Park, 1223 OH-741, Lebanon 
Dec. 14-Dec. 30, Su-Th 6-9 p.m., F-Sa 5:30-10 p.m. 
$20 per carload, $60 per 15-passenger van, $2 for 3D glasses 

New location for this holiday tradition. Features more than 1 million lights and over 250 light displays in a drive-thru attraction. 

Holiday Lights at Lost Creek Preserve 
Lost Creek Preserve, 2385 state Route 41, Troy 
Dec. 17-23, Su-Th 6-9 p.m., F-Sa 6-10 p.m. 
$10 per car, $30 per 15-passenger vans, cash only 

Driving tour takes families past 60 light displays, many of which are animated.  

Journey Borealis 
Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park & Museum, 1763 Hamilton Cleves Road, Hamilton 
Through Jan. 1, Tu-Th 6-9 p.m., F-Su 6-10 p.m., closed Mondays, holiday hours vary 
$25 per carload, $15 per carload for members, $55 for any vehicle that seats 10 or more, Hamilton residents free on Tuesdays 

See more than 1 million lights in this 2.5-mile drive-thru show that also features displays by independent artists. 

The Legendary Lights of Historic Clifton Mill 
Historic Clifton Mill, 75 Water St., Clifton 
Through Dec. 30, 6-9 p.m., Dec. 24-25 6-8 p.m. 
M-W $10 per person, Th-Su $15 per person, children 3 and under free 

More than 4 million lights cover the mill, gorge, riverbanks, trees and bridges. Make sure to see the 100-foot “waterfall” of twinkling lights. 

Light Up Middletown 
Smith Park, 500 Tytus Ave., Middletown 
Through Dec. 31, 6-10 p.m. 
Admission included with donation 

Drive-thru light display that is part of the Ohio Holiday Lights Trail. Donations go toward projects and groups in Middletown.  

Oesterlen Festival of Lights 
Oesterlen Campus, 1918 Mechanicsburg Road, Springfield 
Dec. 16-25, 6-9 p.m. 
Free. 

More than 30,000 lights cover the campus of Oesterlen. Santa and his team will also be there.  

Parklights at Caesar Ford 
Caesar Ford Park, 520 S. Stringtown Road, Xenia 
Through Dec. 31, 6-9 p.m. 
Free 

Park is decorated with lights in different themed areas, including Winter Wonderland, North Pole Car Show, Winter Farm and Festive Festival. 

Fort St. Clair’s Whispering Christmas 
Fort St. Clair Park, 135 Camden Road, Eaton 
Through Dec. 31, 6-9:30 p.m. 
Free, but $5 donation per vehicle encouraged 

Millions of lights cover the park for this holiday attraction. Drive-thru only. 

Winterfest 
Kings Island, 6300 Kings Island Drive, Kings Island 
Through Dec. 31, hours vary, closed Dec. 13-15, & 24-25 
Starts at $29.99 

Park is lit with more than 5 million lights and the Eiffel Tower is turned into a Christmas tree. Also feature live entertainment, winter activities like ice skating and rides like Mystic Timbers and Kings Mills Antique Autos. 

Woodland Lights 
Countryside Park, 895 Miamisburg-Centerville Road, Washington Township 
Dec. 15-23, 6-9 p.m., Dec. 21 6-11 p.m. 
Tickets $9, children 2 and under free, season pass $20 

Visitors to the park can walk through 10 acres of lights and displays or take a ride on the Rieck Express train. Some nights have a special theme so make sure to check schedule before you go.
